"Mr. Merle" Volz  is a multi-talented artisan who passes on to others the sense of  satisfaction he derives from creating one of a kind dreamcatchers in a variety of styles, letting the materials at hand dictate the flavor of each.  From the eliptical shapes of willow and other suitable branches, to the symetry of old and new hoops, these two and three dimensional dreamcatchers are given character by carefully weaving into the webs a variety of semi-precious stones, glass beads and other suitable ornamental beads of  metal, wood, and plastic.  Leather and  feathers  finish off each unique dreamcatcher.

      "According to legend, dreams are messeges from sacred spirits.  A Dream Catcher was made for one at birth and kept throughout life, adding decorations as desired.  The beads in the web represent bad dreams that are caught.  The feathers are the path that good dreams flow on to you.  The hole in the center allows the sun through, melting bad dreams at first light."
