BETTY ANN INGRAM,
a native of Albuquerque,
New Mexico, is a self taught artist and crafts person with experience
in
weaving & stitchery, candlemaking, watercolor, oils & pastels
and
clay. She started hand building in 1975, developing a unique
style
of handbuilt filigree ceramics, continued in the clay
medium
on the potters wheel and began creating ceramic jewelry in
1984.
Some of her past juried shows and fairs include the Renassaince Arts
&
crafts Fair in Albuquerque, NM, the Renaissance Arts & Crafts Fair
in Las Cruces, NM, the Santa Fe. NM Plaza shows, the New Mexico
Arts
& Crafts Festival and Southwest Arts & Crafts Festival in
Albquerque,
NM, the Southwest Arts Festival in Indio, Ca, the Westheimer Arts
& Crafts Festival in Houston, Texas and shows in Key West
Florida.
She is presently a member of the Yucca Art Gallery and the Amapola Art
Gallery in Albuquerque.
Her style of surrealistic art is
unique. It
is a form of pointilism of French influence using a fine
rapid-o-graph
pen, a process that takes days and even weeks to produce

subject matter is inspired by and portrays the wonderment of natural
beauty.
All of her work demonstrates the patience and
determination
of a true artist.
